Nick Field

Nick joined WaveStone in November 2009. Nick is an investment analyst, and his role includes the research and analysis of the materials sector (non-mining, energy, insurance, diversified financials and utilities/infrastructure).

After being in the AMP graduate rotational program, Nick officially joined AMP Capital Investors (Value Plus Funds) in 2004 where he analysed investments across a range of industries including food & beverage, financials, agribusiness and building materials, as well as in the small company arena. Working in a four person equities team, Nick covered several market sectors while also managing quantitative screening, portfolio analysis, and coordination of trades.

After three years at AMP, Nick then spent a year travelling and undertaking volunteer work around the world, returning to Australia in September 2008 where he worked for NMG, a financial consulting practice.
