Abbey Cook

Abbey joined WaveStone in November 2009. Abbey is an investment analyst, whose role includes the research and analysis of the consumer discretionary sector (media, gaming, retail, food & beverage and telecommunications).

Before joining WaveStone, Abbey spent two years as an investment analyst at Vichingo Global Investors. There she analysed US and European listed companies across a number of sectors, including gaming, stock exchanges, financial, food & beverage and retail. At Vichingo Global Investors Abbey operated under the Warren Buffet philosophies, where investment decisions are based on detailed and rigorous research within a high conviction framework.

Throughout her studies, Abbey worked part time for a boutique equity research house and completed two stockbroking internships at JP Morgan. Following university in 2004, Abbey earned a graduate position with LEK Consulting, working as a Management Consultant and then in 2006 joined JP Morgan, working as an Associate Research Analyst within the Emerging Companies team.
